review 1: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. There are certain people that you are drawn to and others you can't figure out. Now, I get it! This book helps you look into peoples's hearts and figure out why they do the things they do. It has given me a HUGE understanding that allows me to "cut people some MAJOR slack!" It helped me understand me, my childhood, my siblings, and friends. Now as a wife and mother, it is helping me understand my amazing husband and children to such a greater level-which is such a blessing!!!!! It is totally working. I feel tons happier. Usually we have one dominant personality type and another one to a lesser degree. I found that I have little characteristics here and there of all the 4 because of parents' personalities, experiences, et. I felt this bo... moreok is truly an inspired HANDBOOK and I will be referring to it again and again. (To my Goodread friends, please write me and tell me what you think and some things that stood out to you!) Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I am a TYPE 1....I know you would have a hard time figuring that one out. ahahahahah!
review 2: I had kind of a hard time finishing this book. I did like a few things about it. I thought it was interesting to read about the different energy types. It did give some good insights into how children with different personalities have different needs and motivations. I felt like it was very repetitive though and not specific enough. I'm sorry, but telling me that I need to honor and support my child doesn't really help me that much. I could have just read the summary from her website and not even read the book. I felt like the book talked a lot about what not to do, like stop damaging and wounding my child, without enough ideas about what to do. less
