review 1: Ping Pong Pig wants more than anything to fly. He practices constantly. The other farm animals are always hard at work on their chores. Ping Pong Pig doesn't do any chores. review 2: Suspenseful page-turner for me, as I anticipated the introduction of table tennis imagery or allusions. There was none. I appreciate the alliterative pleasures of naming the pig thusly, but it is irresponsible and/or sloppy to do so willy nilly, without... more making the slightest reference to the game. Maybe one of the animals could have held a paddle and have tried to hit the pig. I'm just thinking out loud. I'm sorry but I didn't even find the cartoony pictures endearing, nor did I appreciate the awkward pacing, nor alas the agrarian context -- a weak veneer, so you pretty much lost me here. less
