review 1: I honestly think this book was amazing and shows just how hurtful words can be. While the big, unjustifiable wrong is truly heinous, the reason I loved this book is because the small things said from friends and family throughout the story are really what caused all the heartache and hurt. If Brandon had felt able to share with someone, without the fear of hurting them or being hurt in turn, things could have been very different. That being said, the author jumps around a lot, and while the many different scenes are well written, Carolyn Gray does forget to explain many small things that ultimately left me curious at the end. While reading I felt like this was a sequel where you had to have read the first and that I didn't like.
review 2: This book broke my hea
... morert and I loved it! Brandon and Nicholas are soul-mates. They belong with each other, but I do think Nicholas could have been a little more observant towards Brandon's withdrawal. Not so much as to the terrible things that happened to him, but the strain of touring and the distance between them. Then again, the story was told predominately from Brandon's POV.If you love angst, rockers and two guys meant to be together, then read this book. You won't be disappointed. For a 500 + page book, It read very quickly. There is a lot of going back and forth from past and present, but it was nicely done. less

As Yvonne and Buda say.Maybe Buda is a bit too radical, but that's the general idea ;-)
