review 1: Like most YA novels, this jumped into the plot quickly. However, I felt like the supporting characters in this story were underdeveloped. I like it when the antagonist in fantasy story isn't so quickly pointed out. I like it when the book keeps you guessing. This book told the reader what was happening pretty much from the get go. I did enjoy the time travel bits, and the way the author showed the sibling rivalry. I just felt like there was a lot in the book that could have been fleshed out more.

The story about an outcast girl and a boy (love interest) in an environment wherein she's supposedly an outcast is nothing new, however I like the fact that the author didn't gave them perfect personalities.Anyways, there's a Book Two and I'm hoping it wouldn't ruin my impression of the series. less
