review 1: I enjoyed how Maggie Carson is planning her sons future. Charlie can't believe what his mom has done for his brother. Grant wants nothing to do with the wife his mom has found for him but thinks he needs to do the right thing and marry her. Rebecca has come out west to be a wife but when she gets here she finds out that she has been mislead. Charlie is in the middle of the entire thing and is not sure what he wants. I enjoyed the ending very much. I will be reading more of Carre White's books.
review 2: Charlie's mother arranged for a mail order bride for his brother, Grant. After six months of correspondence with Charlie's mother, Rebecca was traveling west to marry her fiancé, Grant. Unfortunately Grant didn't know anything about the letters that his mo
... morether had written in his name and was deep in an affair with a married neighbor. Charlie was sent by his mother to pick Rebecca up at the station. This is a well written short romantic comedy that will keep you smiling throughout the read. I enjoyed Charlie and Rebecca learning about each other and falling in love. I look forward to more from this author and reading about Charlie's mother arranging for wives for his three brothers! less

I enjoyed the read, but I did find the constant change in POV a little confusing and distracting.
