A Fair Prospect
review 1: Part 2 is now in London. With Darcy confessing all to Bingley, Bingley is spending more time at the Gardiners residence. This brings Darcy and Elizabeth into each other's company quite often. Darcy's love for Elizabeth continues to grow but so does his pain thinking she is lost to him forever. The relationship between Darcy and his cousin Coronel Fitzwilliam and his sister Georgiana is amazing and Elizabeth is learning to appreciate the man she turned down. We are privy to Elizabeth's mind as she struggles with her feelings for Darcy. Also we are not sure why the Gardiners godson is so eager to speak to Elizabeth and Darcy is concerned that he is a fair prospect for Elizabeth which breaks his heart. Ends in the middle of a scene and you have to read the third ... morepart!
review 2: I got Volume 2 as a present, and what a fantastic present it was! I couldn’t put it down! I didn’t think it would be possible for it to be even better than Volume 1, but it really is! A lot of things are happening and are happening faster, the pace of this volume is a couple of notches up compared to the first and by the end - what a roller-coaster ride! Colonel Fitzwilliam is as adorable as ever (in critical places even more so), Jane and Georgiana’s attempts to help are very sweet and the journey of self-discovery that both Elizabeth and Darcy find themselves going through is beautifully portrayed. Now I’m in a bit of a quandary, because there are several things I absolutely adored, both in terms of plot and of style, but I think a lot of the enjoyment hinges on the element of surprise and I don’t know what I can safely say without spoiling it for the next reader! I will say this, though: you’re in for a treat! less

My only complaint is that the 2nd and 3rd books in the trilogy are much shorter thanthe first book.

Just as good as the first. Can't wait to see how this all ends.
