review 1: This book was ok. I love that the female is a kick ass crime fighter type. The author did a good job of building the characters and the back story, but there were times when the detail was confusing to the story. The sex scenes felt forced at times. It was like there was no emotional connection between them. The story started out great, and it had a really good ending to it. However, there were some really slow parts in the middle where I almost quit reading the book. Overall, decent read, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
review 2: 3.5 This was pretty good. Very steamy, but my favorite parts of this book were between Kara and her best friend Abby.. I really loved the banter and when they went "hunting" and kicked some baddie butt. I even enjoyed the strangers ... moreand new neighbors Gavin and Julian. But what made me take away some stars was that when it is being explained who and what they are, what the rules are it became very confusing. I felt like it was information over load and I was struggling and had re-read some pages. But it was well written and was a hot steamy read. less
