review 1: The positive aspects of this book : 1. Murder occurs within the first chapter. 2. We get to know more about the character's background. The negative aspects of this book : 1. Plot is slow moving 2. I know Cyril is British probably with a cockney accent ( I may be wrong ) but I really hate it when I have to decipher what certain words means, like nowt. My grammar is bad but Cyril's is just deplorable!! Now I know in real life there are people in America and Britain who doesn't speak proper English but to see it reflected on a book is somewhat hard for me to accept.3. I don't know where Daisy and Joe's relationship is heading towards. I feel like there is something going on between Daisy and Serrano.

Th... moree characters and setting in a quaint Pennsylvania village are all so charming - Daisy's shop is one I'd like to visit in real life - and the family dynamic with Daisy and her daughter is relatable. The mystery keeps you guessing and you can tell that Daisy truly cares not only about her friend who has been wrongly accused, but about everyone in their small town. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series! less
