review 1: I have had this book for a while and only just got around to reading it, I found it very entertaining, it is quite comical although in places I did wonder if the humour was a bit too much making it a bit silly. Running throughout the book is the theme of how society treats the older generation, as the characters decide that they would be treated better off in prison than in the old peoples home where they currently reside. I definitely think the message in there is one to think about.
review 2: After having gleefully devoured "The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed out the Window and Disappeared" and "The Girl who saved the King of Sweden", to which "The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules" is often compared, I had high hopes of being entertained. I was sorely
... more disappointed. The prose was flat and the dialogue, juvenile and just plain silly. I really really regret the ten bucks spent on this, not to mention the wasted weekend. less

It was cute, but the story didn't hold my attention. I felt like I had heard it all before.

A hoot, but unrealistic in how they escaped from each situation they found themselves in.

What's with these books that are good in the beginning then start to suck?
