review 1: I didn't like it, sure the Author has an amazing way in writing, and to be honest I was surprised when they told me that she is only 14 when she wrote this book. However the story was so exiting at the beginning when she was giving a little details about that magical book, but then these details became a the dairy of Leo's life which is boring army, leo ,The grandmother just like a circle. This book is really really disappointing.
review 2: I found myself constantly drifting into sleep while reading this book. I kept hoping that the story would turn out to be more interesting on the next few pages (that's how I was able to finish it) but in the end there was only disappointment...The story was super draggy and I feel like 400 pages could be condensed into just ... moremaybe 200 pages or so. However I am still very impressed that the author started writing this book at the age of 14. Nice courage and I hope she will be able to be more and more mature with her writings and stories. less
