Gemma is a headstrong, int... moreelligent woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. Cole comes home from war scarred, both emotionally and physically. I loved watching him heal and learn to live again. I loved the interwoven dog stories and hearing how a military working dog is trained.I look forward to reading more books in this series and recommend this for anyone who enjoys military romances or loves to read animal stories.
review 2: Gemma runs animal shelter and clinic. Cole was her brother best friend before he was killed in action. When Cole and some of his buddies came home they needed something to do. Gemma need room in her shelter. So Cole had an idea to help out Gemma til she could raise fund to expand. While Cole was do this he started to have feeling rekindled for Gemma. What happens next took Gemma and Cole by surprise. It was a win-win for everybody. It was also as nice surprise for all involved in the plan to help out Gemma. I really enjoyed how things worked out.
