review 1: A well written story about the one that got away. Who of us haven't had that one person in our lives that if we had the opportunity we'd love to give it a second go? The story has likeable characters, even if Emily is a tiny bit whiny at the beginning. The humor and relationship between her and Jake will keep you coming back for more until you've gobbled the whole book up.Tasteful and provocative at the same time, author C.D. Taylor has just the right mix of story and romance. If you are looking for just pure smut, then continue on, as this story actually has.. a story! Some parts seem a little rushed, but from what I've heard this book has had a total overhaul, and from what I've read it was for the better. Keep it up C.D. I will definitely be back for ... moremore!
review 2: Emily lived the pampered life in Los Angeles while growing up but she was missing one thing. Love. Then she moved and went to New York University and met Jake. He was a great friend but after college they lost track of each other. Several years later she returns to New York and discovers Jake again at a fundraiser. But she has a dark past and a distrust of men. Jake on the other hand loves women but they never stay the night or have breakfast in the morning. Now he wants that. Will it be Emily? less
