review 1: "It was amazing" is a most fitting description. I've just few minutes ago finished this book, and it has taken me well over a month to do so. Not only is this topic quite novel to me, but the general wording and advanced terminology made it a struggle to get through with a feeling of understanding. But this is not bad or discouraging characteristics of a book - it's more of a call for contemplation and deep thought. I will need to revisit many chapters to gain even a rudimentary understanding of the powerful concepts of Eistenstein's, but this book has made it so obvious to me, that this is a most necessary task.An incredibly inspirational book filled with turtuous (lol) language and economic topics, extremely ambitious ideas and lastly a gentle, good-humored and welcoming ... moremood.
review 2: It definitely has its redundant passages, but the concepts are so brilliant and the writing is so accessible that I was happy to have more to devour. This is coming from someone not traditionally interested in the technical side of economics, and yes I did feel briefly lost for a paragraph or two, but that's part of CE's point about the counter-intuitive axioms that comprise the foundation of our flawed and outdated money system. less
