review 1: This is a short story that gives you a little more of Izzy. She is the only girl in the family and she has four older brothers. If you have been reading these books you know how tough and stubborn she is. She only does one night stands and she doesn't believe in love or relationships. That being said she meets her match in James Caldo. He is a friend of her brother Thomas who works under cover as a agent. He is on assignment and he sends James to wish his brother well on his wedding day. James wants Izzy but she wants one night only. This could change things. This book contains profanity and sex scenes so it may not be for everyone. It sure will have you buying Resist Me to find out what happens
review 2: This novella was hot with a capital H. It is a... more fantastic addition to The Men of Inked Series, and I loved it.This novella can be read as a standalone, though I would recommend reading it after Throttle Me and Hook Me, just so a few more things are appreciated as much as they should be.This novella tells the story of how Izzy and James meet. It's their meeting, the fireworks and the aftermath all rolled into one spicy little novella. Don't think though that because this is a novella that it'll be lacking with feeling, or heat, or emotion. It's chalk full of it. Izzy and James have some serious chemistry with one another, and it was fantastic to see where their lives first connected. This novella is a great introduction to both James and Izzy and gives you a good idea about what those two headstrong people are all about.Resisting is a quick read, that's fast paced, well developed, and sparking with heat. I felt like it added to the entire series, and gave me another glimpse into two characters that I love, so it really was a win win. less
