review 1: Had a couple of problems with this book; however, it was so beautiful and wonderfully written that overlooking those problems was so easy. The ending left me in tears because it was just amazing! Charlie was an amazing protagonist and the Great Buchanan family was beautiful. It was very We Were Liars-esque in the fact that there's this rich, amazing family with a horrible secret. Definitely pick it up!
review 2: What can I say? I'm as overwhelmed by this book as Julia overwhelmed Charlotte. Let me start by saying that this was a beautiful book. Not only cover-wise (always a bonus) but the writing too. I felt it flowed really well, had a great feel and was honestly a great read for the summer. But maybe that was where it started to fall apart, because I felt re
... moreally detached from everything. It was intense but somehow I never connected with any of them. I think it was just me judging from most of the reviews, but somehow I don't know, I didn't feel as much as I wanted to for this book. And this makes me overwhelmed, because I'm feeling like I lost something along the way. I'm definitely going to reread it once it comes out, but until then I'm stuck wondering about this. less
