review 1: Michelle catches her fiance cheating on her with her best friend several weeks before their wedding. She rents a cabin in the Rockies and leaves town. Her car breaks down in a snow torm and she decides to walk a little bit and see if she can find help since she doesn't have phone service in the mountains. Two horrible men stop and are just about to attack her when Jason, a sexy fireman happens to drive by and sees what's happening. He steps in and saves Michelle but they are forced to run in the woods to get away from the men in the middle of the snow storm. They find shelter in a cave and discover they are strongly attracted to each other. Jason feels an immediate protectiveness over Michelle he has never felt before. It's up to Jason to keep her safe since the two men st... moreole her purse with her personal information.Really fat sweet read with a really great guy. Who wouldn't want to be saved by someone like Jason. Told in dual POVs and has a good ending.
review 2: A quick intense story that moves a little too fast to be entirely comfortable. The chances of all those events happening like that are so astronomical as to be pretty much impossible. Being from the upper midwest and frequently visited by blizzard like conditions, to be in the country in the midst of one and to leave shelter of any kind and expect to be able to find your way back is foolish and deadly. For such a smart girl she left her car, I could go on but don't want to spoil the whole story. If you are looking for a fairly quick story that goes from one crisis to another but not all that realistic, this is the story for you. It isn't terrible or anything but I don't think I will be reading/listening to it again.I heard this story via Audio.com. The reader is male and in some way's I liked that better than a female (probably because of all the swearing for one) but for me the voice(s) sounded pretty monographic and didn't show any feeling or anything. That took away from the story for me. less
