review 1: This book plus the author truly took me by suprise. This story is about Althea and Griffin there jorney to falling/finding love with eachother. I could truly feel what Althea felt when husband died. Then having to raise her son without him is truly tough. I loved Griffin and the chemistry he shared with Althea. This book had it all with some goo hot sex scenes, then you had a good storyline and the building of a relationship all in one. I truly enjoyed this book and i can't wait to read other books by Author Chloe T. Barlow. I can say that, I've found a new author. Don't think about it just grab this book. I promise you will not be disappointed at all. I went into this book not knowing what to think and came out wanting more from this author.
review 2: I thorou... moreghly enjoyed this book having gone to school at CMU in Pittsburgh. I really commend the author’s ability to promote Pittsburgh seamlessly in the story and now I want to go back for a visit having left more than a decade ago. The storyline is nothing unique about two individuals who were so buried in guilt and remorse that hampered their ability to be in a relationship but decided to embark on a temporary physical dalliance with an “expiration date”. But the author managed to put together an endearing story with funny dialogue, suspense and vivid characters, Althea and Griffin and their host of friends and family. The chemistry between Althea and Griffin was palpable and wonderful and they were really sexy together. I also found Griffin’s jealously and frustration really puppy-dog sweet when he realized how much he needed Althea in his life. less
