review 1: This is a sequel that did not disappoint. Honestly, the only disappointment is that book 3 isn't coming out until winter 2014! Chrissy is growing into a person that I love. Her choices are still flawed but she is trying to be authentic to herself and loyal to those she loves. This book takes her through some heart wrenching ordeals and she is learning to hold her head up and be strong instead of melting down when things get tough. The Unexpected List pulled at my emotions and held my attention just as much as The Life List did and I cannot wait until the next book, I may just go into withdrawals while waiting because the cliffhanger at the end of this one is about to kill me. Warning for my friends that will care to know... Although Chrissy is learning to control her... more tongue, the language and adult themes are still there like the first book... but if you read the first book and are reading this review now, then you already know about it.
review 2: I want to punch Chrissy in the throat!!! How many lies and ruined lives will it take for this girl to finally face reality and get her shit together?! She has single handedly destroyed her own life by refusing to learn from her mistakes. There is no progress with this girl I swear. She is perpetually an infant!!! Those two guys she strings along are victims of her impulsive and selfish behavior. Agh!!! But for a book to elicit this kind of response has to be commended. I want to read the final book NOW! What a trainwreck. less
