review 1: I've always found it interesting that what I think or feel about a book depends heavily on my mood and mental state when I decide to read something.And I NEEDED this book right now! The investigation/mystery was engaging enough to keep me interested. (Although I concede that the bigoted villain was pretty OTT.) The characters were developed enough, their story and history angsty enough to make me care. Not to mention some steamy sexy time to liven things up even more.The tropes here are common (amnesia, unrequited love...), but presented well. The author did a good job setting up potential future storylines without leaving gaping holes in this book....I really enjoyed this!
review 2: I gotta admit, I love a good amnesia story. It's just so much fun to see how t... morehe characters all handle it and what memories come out of the woodwork as the story progresses. I know it's a cliched trope, but it's still fun. I thought it was done really well here and I loved the characters. Trevor and Jaime made me care about them and what they were going through. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one set in Snowcroft. less
