review 1: 3,5 stars, just this close from being my favorite. I guess it's because I want a better closure with Aura's mom. The rest? I loved it. I got the drama, I got the "romance" and I got the possessive Alpha. What more could I ask? If only I got a good closure between Aura and her mom, I'd be a happy girl. At first I don't think this book's genre is young adult. Especially with the BBW theme, because most of BBW is, well, erotica right? Not this one. It's surprised me in a good way. It's not everyday you found a good BBW book with young adult as a genre, right? So yeah, overall I liked this book! Look forward to read the next installment of this series. :)
review 2: I love the Alpha series by this author, so I figured I would give her YA series a shot. It was a gre... moreat read. The main character definitely was not your everyday heroine. She has health and weight issues as well as a secret she tries to keep from everyone. She is also, and amazingly fun girl and it was great to see her life turn the corner as she met her mate. I also loved that even though this is a "find your true mate" book, Christin stays true to the YA feel and there leaves the sex for the Alpha Dom series. Not that there is no heat ;). less
