I’m not joking. When I saw some of the books I’m about to tell you about, I genuinely screamed aloud. Let’s just say that my bank account may be screaming with me come the release dates. I have three books to chat about today, and I am so frickin’ excited for them all.
1. Saga Vol. 8 by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Okay, so I am currently on Vol. 4 – so I have 5, 6, and 7 still to read – but I am so excited for vol. 8! I am avoiding the description for vol. 8, so cannot tell you anything about it (apart from screaming READ SAGA FOR GOODNESS’ SAKE at you), but LOOK AT THIS COVER. Isn’t it just the best thing ever?! I want this as a print and on my wall, let me tell you.
Release date: 2nd Jan 2018
2. The Curses by Laure Eve (The Graces #2)
Oh. my. god. Okay so #1 – can we talk about how awkward I was when I met the incredible Laure Eve at YALC over summer? (#sorryLaure) #2 CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS COMING OUT?! I cannot WAIT to continue on with this series and discover what happens, although I will suspect I will need to reread the Graces first. Whilst my hype has not diminished, my memory certainly has, and I need to remember some of the details… #whoops
Release date: 9th Jan 2018
3. A Spoonful of Murder by Robin Stevens (Wells & Wong #6)
HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS WAS A JANUARY RELEASE?! I knew that this book was coming out soon, but not this soon. ohemgee I am so excited. If you have not read any of Robin Stevens’ books, I recommend that you rectify that immediately, starting with the astonishingly incredible Murder Most Unladylike. Dooooo it.
Release date: Edit: A SPOONFUL OF MURDER’s release date is actually set at February 8th 2018, not January 4th as originally said on Goodreads!
So here are some new releases I am screaming about (I do not apologise for the sheer amount of enthusiasm in this post). What’re some you’re excited for? Are you flailing about the same books I am?
Until the next time,
