review 1: Painfully predictable, and completely unrealistic. I expect at least a bit of reality in contemporary fiction. I just could not get on board with this story. It felt bogus, and forced especially Owen's "Irish-ness."I usually enjoy these kinds of stories, but I had no patience for the characters, plot, or romance. The writing was awkward, too. I couldn't tell you exactly why, but I could not get into it at all. This did nothing but bore me. The only good thing this had going for it was the length; it was pretty short.
review 2: I found this one written just a little bit different than her other books. However it was just as great. Yea little far fetched that a woman in this day and age would answer a Craigslist ad searching for "attractive woman....needed for
... morethree weeks, must travel. But it worked. Owen was not this overly dominate male, but seemed like a good solid man looking for redemption for his sister. So far any book (and I have read at least seven) I have read by Ms. Bell has been well with the time and money and I will most definitely continue to do so. less
