review 1: Who doesn't like to see the alpha male (Felix) who doesn't believe in one woman settling down get toppled by an unsuspecting female? For Rafe De Santos it is finally happened, much to the happiness of the females of his friends. Tess is a witch. In her opinion not a great one, but she still has powers. She has been sent with a message to deliver to Rafe from the witch's council. She is a funny character. She has witty comebacks and doesn't let Rafe push her around. Now Missy is a whole other story ;) Rafe is still his gorgeous bad ass self. He's rich, leader of the council, and has enemies so when he realizes hes being followed the last person he expects is Tess and for her to be his mate. This story has hot sex, laugh out loud moments, and of course the mystery as to what... more's going on going on in the background. If you've liked this series at all this just may become your favorite.
review 2: Still mostly enjoying this fun series. This one seemed a little light in that really not much happened but them going to bed like bunnies a whole bunch. It was nicely written and the sex scenes were good but there wasn't much plot. The bad guy was lame and his story hardly developed at all. Also the heroine was a witch and her only power was an ability to see what was going to happen right before it does. This only allowed her to avoid stepping out in front of a bus for example. That's not magic it's psychic ability. Hmmm... less
