review 1: The 2 doesn't mean I didn't like reading the book. It was a fun romp in an interesting supernatural environment. I know there are more coming in this series and I will be reading them. With that being said, It was not what I would call "well written". The characters are skin-deep troupes, the "twists" are painfully expected, and the ending is rushed. I had fun but don't expect to be wowed by the author. Just enjoy it for what it is.
