review 1: I'd like to think Jane Austen would write a scathing review of this book. I would recommend it to no one, except as material for DIY projects.Where to begin? The main character, Lily, is a pathetic, needy woman who doesn't get a hint when it comes to the end of a relationship, and can't figure out how to act like an adult. She goes off to England for a Jane Austen festival hoping to find herself but discovers, surprise surprise, her problems follow her. Half of the characters in this book cheat on their significant others, destroying lives around them. Even the male interest in this book turns out to be a cheating bastard, yet Lily has fallen for her idea of him and can't let him go. How she can even compare herself to any of the heroines in Jane Austen's novel is a joke. ... moreOh and her imaginary friend "My Jane Austen"? I wanted to vomit. This girl is so out of touch with reality she needs an inter-novel intervention and a padded room.Don't read this book unless you like poorly written works.
review 2: I actually liked this book, it's cute and a light read.In the second quarter of the book it get's a little slow, but you really wanna read till the endcause it has a great ending!!!There isn't too much of a climax or any real "action", but it does have a story that will get you thinking about your own life and your own happiness. So if you like those kind of books, you'll like this one.:) less

Not as much like an Austen book as I was expecting and too many characters to keep track of.
