review 1: This book is really good recommend a teen girl or a mom to read this book. The book is about this girl name Kendra that lives with her grandma because her mom was to young to to take care of her. So the grandma is raising Kendra the way she feel that she will not make the same mistakes like her mom did in high school. Also Kendra's best friend / cousin is by her side trying to teach her how to get a boy and what kind of boy but it goes all wrong when she picks the wrong boy.So read and see what happens next.
review 2: Kendra is a nice girl living with her grandma in the projects who suddenly, surprisingly, believably succumbs to temptation in the guise of one hot, handsome hunk! I read this after Tyrell, expecting the voice to be sort of the same--and soooooo hop
... moreing it wasn't---and IT WASN'T!!! Kendra is unique, smart, tormented, and it shows. Kendra says "yes"--when we so want her to say, "no", and if you can't or don't want to read about a character behaving badly--aka having sex with a partner and alone--then don't read this--but do pass it on to your teens because they WILL want to read it--and should. less
