review 1: If this book is a good indication, this author has a brite future ahead of her! I fell in love with both her hero and heroine. They were both so totally likeable and so well matched. The story line was well developed with just enough adventure and romance to keep you turning the next page. There are a few other characters introduced that I am sure will inspire future stories of their own. I can't wait to read about their adventures! A sweet romance that inspires and epitomizes the best kind of love.
review 2: Despite having read the three books in this series out of order, this story was my last of the Castle Bride series and a wonderful finish it was. This story of Yvette and Ewan contains a mystery with a treasonous spy and a murderous suitor who attempt t... moreo kill or kidnap Yvette for her wealth. Yvette is rescued and "saved" many times by Ewan, who tricks her into a Scottish style marriage for her safety, and then falls in love with her. The resulting courtship and adventures lead to their lasting love and a marriage of their hearts and souls. It is a wonderful historical romance and a fitting end to the series for me. I am looking forward to more stories written by this terrific author. less
