review 1: Hidden in Paris is the perfect summer beach read. Those of us who remember our high school French ( most certainly those who are fluent in French) will enjoy the way the author uses snippets of the language to make her story rich in the romantic imagery that is Paris. The only problem I have with the book ( and this may be a product of reading too many books where things don't always work out) is that the book ties everything up into a nice, neat bow in the end. This is still a great relaxing summer read .Enjoy!
review 2: I am a sucker for a novel set in Paris. The promise of starting a new and wonderful life had me longing to pack my bags and answering the ad that that was placed by Annie, the main character in this novel. The story focuses on the lives of
... more Annie and her three tenants and their attempts to first escape and then to change the direction of their lives. The author did such a good job of making the characters three dimensional that I did not really fall in love with any of them. They all were much too flawed. less
