review 1: Team Titan---A group of people who right the wrongs in this world...Sort of. Headed by Jared Westin, Titan group is primarily a hostage rescue team. They take on missions that a lot of other folks won't do.Roman Hart is on Team Titan. Spotter for Cash, the sniper, Roman is the one with the cool head, and manages to get the jobs done. Roman is a tortured soul. His sister, Nicola, was presumed dead 10 years ago. Roman took it to heart, and has always felt that he let Nicola down by not being there for her.Nicola went into the WITSEC program, then joined the CIA. Beth Tourne was her handler. From the moment that Beth and Roman met, there were sparks between them. It was not a matter of IF they would get together, but WHEN they would get together.A mission for Titan brings Rom... morean and Beth into close quarters and causes them to finally confront their feelings for each other. But they each harbor deep, and heart-rending secrets. Put in a dangerous mission, and the sparks really fly.I enjoyed this book, as I have each Titan Book. Ms Harber really brings these characters to life, and makes us feel for them. I especially like the fact that we still see other members of the team, and their interactions with each other. There is one particularly heart wrenching scene with Cash and Nicola that really moved me, even though they are secondary characters in this book. This is yet another home run for the Titan Series
review 2: One of the things I love about Cristin's books is the action! She keeps you on the edge of your seat ready to jump at each twist and turn. The woman knows her stuff and boy does she make running around the world, bad crazy guys chasing you with guns, hot and sexy.To me if an author makes you feel deep enough that you want to punch, kick or lick a character, they're doing a damn good job. Cristin has this a million times over. Most of the book I want to punch Roman and shake Beth, but put the two together and WHOA, it's hot, it's intense and most of all heartbreakingly sweet. Roman reminded me a lot of Jared but with a lot of built up anger and hurt. There is just so much to this book, and I loved every damn minute, yeah even the ones I wanted to hunt Cristin down and do bodily harm. I'm forever and always on Team Cristin. As long as she keeps writing sexy gun toting men, I'll keep reading them!! less
