review 1: Mercy mercy mercy I loved this so, SO much. I can't really be smart and descriptive about it right now. There is so much that should be said that I'm incapable of saying. Suffice to say that I couldn't read anything else for a week after finishing it because I just needed to mentally dwell in the world of Damen and Laurent for a bit longer. I am not going to separate the reviews for Book 1 and Book 2. They are one story and cannot separately exist. I need Book 3 now, like crazy.
review 2: Wow. That was intense. I don't think I stopped shrieking into my hand for the entire last eighty pages of the book. CS Pacat knows how to build and hold tension, let's just say that. I mean, bridge engineers could take a few tension lessons from here. The surface of water
... moreain't got nothing on this. Can I just--can I rate this book six stars? Can I petition goodreads for that to happen. Five stars is not an accurate representation of my feelings at this moment in time. less
