review 1: Strong characters, especially the heroine Genie who kicks ass with the best of them without any loss of endearing vulnerability. Pacy with plenty of action and most rewarding of all, packed full of twists and surprises. Complex but in an accessible way which makes for a very satisfying read. One I'll keep and read again because in my eagerness to find out what happens, I know I missed some of the deeper layers to Kyle and Genie. Wish I hadn't finished it.

The hardest part of her returning is that she has to face he... morer hunky ex, who she left without a good explanation. I loved the emotions and the crazy adventures these two have--Will they get together? Should they get together?--as they are forced to work together to try and figure out who has betrayed them--her family? the government? or a villain from her past? I look forward to reading more romantic adventures from Cynthia Cooke. less
