review 1: This was a very different take on the classic Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We have Ben a vampire, who is hovering on the edge of darkness. We have a demon named William Marley is out to show Ben the error of his ways. And then we have Simone, a fallen angel, who is in love with Ben. Can a demon, a fallen angel and a shape shifter keep Ben from going to the dark side and maybe even find love again? Interesting twist in a short novella.
review 2: This was an interesting take on the classic Christmas Carol story. At the start I was so so with Ben, leaning towards disliking him. However as his "ghosts" visited him I felt sorry for Ben, for all that he had been through. I was glad that Ben had to face all the bad things, glad that he was given a choic... moree and that he made the right one in the end. I have hope that Ben will have himself a happy little family. less
