review 1: Okay I unabashedly loved this little ebook. A lot of these YA novellas feel like filler - just some short scene to satisfy the publishers wanting one. But this is almost a complete story. It's got some excellent writing and lines that made me wish I could write this well. I actually feel a lot more for Angela's love story then I ever did for Clara's love story/stories. I really, really enjoyed this. :)
review 2: Truly, it was great to be inside Angela's head for a tiny bit. I hadn't pegged her as evil, though i know that question had been kicked around quite a bit by others. Seems she is conflicted, but fundamentally good. Phen was an interesting character to get to know. It seems he'll be popping up again and I'm excited to see where that leads.
