review 1: ♦♦♦♦ I received an arc in exchange for an honest review ♦♦♦♦This is a read that is along the lines of FSOG, so if you love that book you are going to love this.It is a hot, sensual full of sexiness read, well written and the characters easily liked. The book can have you glued to the pages and also hot in places.There is a major cliffhanger, so on to the next book to see what happens next.
review 2: Very well written book but I had some issues believing in Laurel and Garrett’s relationship. It moves along so quickly which in itself isn’t an issue but I had a hard time believing it after hearing what Laurel went through and the issues she had. As a reader I don’t trust Garrett and feel like he’s hiding something so I can’t see how she ... moredoes trust him so easily. It also gets to be a little much how he takes away all her choices when they are a couple- from her clothes each day, to food, or even how she is supposed to wear her hair. For such a smart women, it is surprising how she gives into everything after a week of knowing him no matter how hot, intelligent or wealthy he may be. Dom/Sub relationships can be exciting but this one did not feel that way to me. One of the major positives to me is Laurel as a pretty but smart woman that has a lot of depth. I was cheering for her to be happy. I am just waiting to see if Garrett is the right man for her. I hope the next book proves to me he deserves her. Warning this is a cliffhanger so you’ll need to read the 2nd book to find out what happens.Reviewed by Cathy less
