Review: This is such a cute book that’s illustrated in a way that I’ve rarely seen Lane Smith do! (Whenever I think of Smith, I immediately think of The Stinky Cheese Man, so these two definitely have a very different illustrative style). Not being super familiar with Smith’s other work, I think this is a great show of how talented he is, and how style can transform over time and at will. The storyline is just fantastic and simple and cute, and the illustrations are just the same.
