review 1: This is a pretty good self help book. I thought it covered the topic adequately and had some good reminders but it didn't blow me away. One thing I found off-putting was that most of the stories and examples were sports or military examples. I know this is standard self-help trope material but most of us don't face battlefield conditions when we're at work. I find it more motivating to read how someone clears out clutter or how to interact better with co-workers. This is pretty broad based advice material and unless you're going to say something that hasn't been said before we have enough material in this space.
review 2: Terrific book - a 4 1/2 star that deserves the 'round up' to 5 based on how much I enjoyed the content.The interspersing of the author's own ... morepersonal story (journey) , with that of some of his family was a big + --- let alone how well he pulled such wonderful examples from history to buttress the points he made throughout the sections of the book; he utilized true stories from the 1990s/2000's, let alone going all the way back into antiquity!Definitely a book that belongs in any self directed educational library, let alone should be assigned to any student in a public setting (K-12). less
