review 1: What a beauiful story, Eilidh was a sweet girl and Jamie was a lovely lad, they where childhood friends which is really sweet, Eilidh got married to Tom even tho Tom was a nice bloke he break Eilidh heart. Then there is Jamie a caring guy who loved Janet alot who gave birth to there child but she took off and left Jamie and there baby, Janet breaks Jamie's heart, both Jamie and Eilidh have but up walks and they don't want to let anyone in, until Eilidh looks after Jamie's baby then things start changing between Eilidh and Jamie they start loving each other and bit by bit the walls of there heart start coming down, lovely story fully enjoyed it
review 2: Amazon has a lot to answer for. The was a recommendation based on something else I had read. Whatever it was,
... more it couldn't be as bad as this. I don't know what editors are getting paid these days but either it isn't enough or its far too much and they've become lazy. This book is written in the first person of loads of character but if you didn't see the names at the start of their section you would be hard pressed to figure out who was talking since everyone has the same tone and vocabulary. I found the whole book boring and contrived. By the end I was skimming. Blech! less

Really enjoyed reading this book....and not just because a character had the same name as me.
