review 1: I'm definitely a Danielle Allen fan, hands down! This is such a fun twist on love and romance. I loved it! The girls are both very relatable and I could find myself in each of them at different points in my life. I loved their bond and genuine care for each other. The game they play to find their fairytale provides soooo much entertainment! I found myself wishing I could be part of their challenge... (don't tell my very adorable, loving and romantic husband though!). Oh the men in this book are extremely swoon worthy... HOT, STEAMY, SEXY... alluring! Danielle does a great job of blending New Adult Romance and a bit of Chick-Lit. Well done my friend! There's a unique, clever and oh so very sly twist in this story that I am absolutely head over heels a... morebout!
review 2: I received an ARC for an honest review ,,, seriously gotta say straight off I bloody loved this book :)This is a romance but from a different angle ,,, we have Autumn who is a total romantic, believes in love and HEAs ,,,, she wants a future ,,, but has been hurt by the person she thought would be her future ,,,she's been on dates but there's no sparks ,,, she so wants those sparksWe also have Autumns BFF Summer ,,, now she has totally different beliefs when it comes to love and relationships ,,, love doesn't exist and relationships are only worthwhile when the sex is good ,,, if he can't please then it's no longer needed ,,, Summer had been in a relationship with someone only to find out he had been sleeping with someone else ,,, she knew the relationship had run it's course before hand but this was the nail in the coffin ,,, not wanting to be in a mans shadow she wanting to start a fresh ,,,so she took a leap of faith ,,, and her life changed for the better ,,,Summer and Autumn were tired of these dead end dates and the other always knowing it wasn't going to work so Summer thought of a plan ,,,surely it would work? Wouldn't it? ,,, summer gets to pick Autumn 10 dates and Autumn would pick Summers Neither would know who they were dating but would willingly go along ,,, the idea would be to realise what it is that they were both 'really' looking for and the knew each other so well that it would probably work out ,,,, surely? ,,, what could go wrong?Summer has met a guy that is HOT but he is taken but she can't get him out of her head ,,, one of her dates surely will be able to help? Won't they?Autumn has a strong connection with two of her matches ,,, one she has never seen ,,, one she feels like she needs distance from ,,, but both pulling her in closer and closer ,,, will it work out with either? Will she make a decision who she wants and sees a future with? Will she find someone else? ,,, will the decision be taken out of her hands?I've really enjoyed Danielle's work in the past with her other books and this one doesn't disappoint either ,,, it's brilliant and I couldn't put it down,,, I really enjoyed the different direction she took with this book ,,, it was refreshing to read something 'different' and 'new' but yet along the same lines as that of what I normally enjoy readingI highly recommend this book ,,, I hope that there is more ,,, the characters are really cool and I'd love to hear more from them and the other background characters too :) less
