review 1: I started this book yesterday and finished it pretty quickly. It was a free book on the Kindle app and I was in the mood for something about princes. This being the reason I gave this one a try.The book was good in a slow going sort of way. I liked that the story characters were more insta-attraction than instalove. I can't do the whole instalove love anymore. It really gets to me.Sander was a very likable character despite his one major flaw in the book. He lied to Chay about his political standing. If I were her, I don't know if I could still be with someone who withheld such important information from me. He should not have just showed up out of nowhere and surprised her like that without a little warning first. That aside, I did like the story. Maybe not enough to cont... moreinue the series since it's five books and I'm not looking to invest myself that much, but it was good nonetheless. If you're looking for a free, fun read about princes, go for this one.
review 2: This is first book in the series with a Cinderella and her prince charming. With its suspense and plot the book gripped me till I was done with it and bought the next one in series. The story does have its minuses but it definitely makes you read on and on. Though it does not end in obvious cliffhanger but it visibly leaves you wanting to read what happens next. The series reads like a U/A film or a TV serial with spectators wanting to know what happens next. less
