review 1: This was cute. I liked the differences in all these stories. Some couples have been together since they were sixteen, others met late in life. Some of the couples met when they were young and then reconnected later, others were married for a short while before someone passed. People dated other people, married other people, had children with other people but they still wound up with each other even if was only for a few years. I liked this, I really did. What can I say, I'm a sap for a good love story.
review 2: Inspiring stories from people who fell in love and committed to each other: one couple that divorce but remarried, couples that met during WWII, people who lost spouses during 9/11. A few stories about same-sex couples and their happy relationships. R... moreeally enjoyed the ones where the couples showed their love and support for each other so strongly, like the two people with MS who decided they were going to get married and keep living life as fully as they could, including travelling (they say that it's a bonus to each have a scooter, because if one breaks the other can tow it), or the man who still loves his older wife who is slowly and knowingly developing Alzheimers. Great portraits of real people and love under all circumstances. less
