review 1: كتبت مراجعة سريعة وحدثت مشكلة بالبرنامج وانحذف .. المهم ان الكتاب لا يعكس الفكرة التي قد يعتقدها القارئ من أنه يرصد نشأة المصطلح وتاريخه وما إلى ذلك ، لكنه يبدأ بسرد لأحداث احتلوا وول ستريت( وهي التي يستغرق فيها وتحليلها معظم أجزاء الكتاب) ومشاركته ضمن الحركة -الكاتب أناركي- وكيف تعاملت تم التعامل معهم في بلد الحرية من قبل القوات المسلحة! فهو يقول أنه سأل أحد الجنود لماذا انتم مسلحون رغم أنكم تقابلون حركةً سلمية؟ معظم فصول الكتاب... more تتحدث عن الحركة الأناركية في أمريكا مع بعض الإشارات لحركات أهرى من ضمنها ٦ أبريل المصرية ، وأظنه تحدث عنها بعد الصفحة ثلاثين لمن أراد أن يقرأ شيئاً من رأيه فيها .. الكتاب تصفحته بشكل سريع ومحتواه حقيقةً لم يكن هو بغيتي وحتى في أحد الفصول التي افردها للحديث عن الوجه الخفي للديمقراطية لم يكن حاسماً في نقده.
review 2: This was to an extent a case of false advertising, it seems. More accurate title would be The Anarchy Project. Admittedly, I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject of politics, not as much as I'd like to be. I picked up this book hoping to learn more and learn I did, although not exactly the sort of things I thought I'd be learning. Graeber is a lower case anarchist and seems to dedicate the majority of his book to discussing his views as such and talking about the Occupy movement. There is a chapter on history of democracy, but most roads in the book seem to go directly to anarchy. An interesting book, written by an obviously intelligent and erudite person, but with some very extreme views that don't necessarily stick to the promise of the cover. less
