review 1: My first David Ignatius book. It was just ok. A well-known and well-connected reporter in Washington DC, Ignatius tries to wow us with his knowledge about the inner-workings of the Intelligence Community. But unfortunately his knowledge, and his ego, get in the way of story telling. He has created some great characters, but there are too many of them, so we do not really get to know them or their motivations. As a result, the little suspense built up at the beginning, dies. The ending is predictable, and we are left wondering why and how? Won't be turning to Ignatius again anytime soon.
review 2: I don't really have much to say about this book. I wasn't overly impressed with it, and the ending left too many lose ends, and what it did resolve wasn't very sat
... moreisfying. The technical aspects where accurate, and added to the book without the tech this novel would have fallen flat.Though to be fair I really haven't read many novels in this particular genre and I'm judging it from that point of view. less

Way too many details about hacking, but the human story made it a good read.
