review 1: I picked the book up because the cover was interesting. The book was OK. I liked it better by the end. Some of the storyline was confusing (why, for example, she just accepted that she could take her skin off and fly -- I found that really strange, when she made her skin of air -- and I didn't understand the structure of the Flow itself). I think I'd appreciate it more if I read it again from the beginning. But it did move along at a fast place, and I liked the ending.
review 2: The descriptions in this book are beautiful. The story does a full circle. I do still wonder about V and Bones relationship. I mean, is she just going to see him every time she looks at a mirror,, besides in the Flow? Are they actually going to be together!?! Well anyway.... I... more hope so... THEY BETTER!!! In addition, the book started off very fast paced. Though I was surprised how accepting Consuela/Bones was. She didn't ask many questions and didn't find out that she was separate from her "real" body. In the beginning when the sensation of taking off her skin was described it literally made me squirm. I know it could've been better described and elaborated on but, I really didn't want to hear more about that, so I thank the author for keeping that part short. I also liked how he repeated the 2 lines when she made another skin. I think it was something about the world snapping open, then the world snapping shut. On another note, this book was great, and I can back that up with evidence. I stayed up reading much longer after I should've gone to bed to read this book. I was probably half-way through the book before exhaustion caught up with me, and i started it that night and read straight through for a couple hours. Besides this book being a good read, I want to own it just because of the cover, it's so pretty! I would give this book about a 3.40 out of 5.0. There are so many good quotes in this book, see if you can find them all! less
