Paper Aeroplanes
review 1: I thorough enjoyed reading Paper Aeroplanes. I think Dawn is a fab writer because every conversation the characters had seemed real, natural and believable. I think it's really important if we read this book that we take into consideration the pressures we put on each other. Especially if we're girls who have insecurities. The next book is called Goose (I think... My friend said it was anyway) so I guess we'll find out what happens next in that. :)
review 2: I think Dawn O'Porter's great and I really wanted to enjoy this book but I just came away from it feeling a bit 'meh'... The sign of a good book, in my opinion, is one that leaves me feeling slightly distraught, laughing hard, or any other strong emotion. Paper Aeroplanes unfortunately didn't make me feel a
... moreny particular strong emotion, which is very rare for me...! It was gritty but seemed to have too many hard hitting topics thrown in at once which made it feel a little too crammed and forced. I also didn't find any character particularly likeable which is likely to be why I didn't care for their story too much. Despite only giving Paper Aeroplanes 2 Stars I'm going to give Goose a go in the hope that I come away with more of a positive reaction. less

Really boring and depressing. Not enough reaction to what's going on.
