Paper Aeroplanes
review 1: I think I enjoyed Goose even more than Paper Aeroplanes. I loved the characters and cared for them and could relate to the teenage drama. Dawn O'Porter is a great writer, at least when it comes to YA fiction. She doesn't romanticize the teenage years like so many other books do, she just writes it how it is. This book is full of raw feelings and it made me laugh many times, I even shed a few tears. I remember that I stayed up late to finish reading it and I felt a bit overwhelmed afterwards, I was lying in my bed thinking about the book for over half an hour. I really did love this one and I'm looking forward to more books by Dawn O'Porter.
review 2: I adored Paper Aeroplanes so I couldn't wait to get my hands on Goose. It picks up about 3 years after where Pap
... moreer Aeroplanes left us off. The characters have grown up a bit, matured a bit and as a result are all the more relatable. Getting ready to leave their little island of Guernsey after their exams, Flo and Reneé are finding it hard at times to maintain the friendship they first had. Throw in the mix a live interest or two and you'll see the two young ladies slowly drifting apart against their will. An enjoyable read, brings me back to my teenage years to a certain extent and while it's no Paper Aeroplanes, I can't wait for the next instalment! less

I'd probably have enjoyed it more a few years ago but I still liked it.
