review 1: As ever, Barant makes light of sweeping the reader off their feet and completely into Jace's world. I'll be sorry when I actually finish this series because Jace is a truly lovable character and she grows more and more with each book. Not even the darkest characters are soulless pits in here and that's a hard thing to master every now and again though Barant manages it artfully. There's more to Tear that the dislike we have for him because he stole the good doctor and there's more to David Cassius than his masks. And we love it. So put on your comfy clothes, get yourself a cup of tea and get reading.
review 2: Oh my gosh. This author is totally awesome! This book was chock full of action, mystery, and a teeny bit of romance. Jace is attacked by a Werewolf. ... more That means, she is going to become one. On top of the mystery or Tair/Dr. Pete, Cassius trying to save her, a crazy mobster, and much, much, more. I love this series. I can't wait to read more from this author. Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series is still my favorite. This series is high on my list of favorites! less
