review 1: Haunted on Bourbon StreetI enjoyed this book. I originally read it as part of the Forbidden Lovers set and just re-read it before reading the rest of the series. Deanna has created a great group of characters that make you feel like you could know them. It's full of interesting events and turns that keep you reading. If you like books about the paranormal (with some romance thrown in) then you'll probably like this book (the first in it's series). Witches of Bourbon StreetA decent second book in the series. There was some points where I thought the author could have explained things better or faster, where I was left wondering is she ever going to explain that... she did eventually get around to it though. There was plenty of twists and surprises that keep you reading. Ove... morerall I enjoyed the story and look forward to the others in the series. Demons of Bourbon StreetGood continuation of the series (#3). Full of twists and turns that keep you reading and guessing and a pull on the emotions. I think it was better than #2 (Witches of Bourbon Street). Although I did enjoy this book (along with the others in the series) I'm not sure how I feel about the conclusion to the problem (won't say more than that to avoid spoilers) but I guess I'll have to wait and see how it plays out in the next book.
review 2: I liked these well enough to buy the 4th book. The 3rd book, Demons of Bourbon Street pissed me off. That whole book was irritating. Altogether, they were a good solid read w/ extra special smut. FIRE!!!!Ok, got that out. If u decide to read these books, I love that Jade always loses her shoes in the 1st book. I'm not gonna give anything else away, good smut, a couple that's good together, not fightin throughout the book & shoe loss. LOL! I love that Jade's character grows & evolves thru the series. It's not a drastic change, which u don't want, but her evolution happens slowly & by book 3, u see how far she's come. less
