review 1: I had no idea the troubles she went through in her life. Especially, with her husbands. They were ALL losers, and that is unfortunate. I enjoyed the detail and the tidbits on the Hollywood elite of her era. I also liked the breakdown of her movie experiences. But the book felt a bit disjointed due to Miss Reynolds memories that were tucked here and there and took the reader away from the current point. I do understand that these little extras were meant to further explain things, but it was often confusing to me. In the last third of the book, she lists her movie career and her experiences on various films and while I enjoyed this part, it was disconnected and almost felt like a separate book.
review 2: I enjoyed this book more than I though I would. Debbie Rey
... morenolds was part of my childhood with the Halloweentown movies and now in my "adult" life with singin' in the rain, the tender trap and others. This book picks up where her last left off and having not read her previous book I thought I would be lost, but luckily that wasn't the case. She starts off with her third wedding and everything chaotic that followed; from her problems with the hotel, the terrible person her third person turned out to be and the many times she tried to make a gallery/museum for her movie memorabilia. She talks about all these things in a way only Debbie Reynolds can with her literary voice. She later goes on to talk about all her movies, experiences while making them and/or what was going on in her life at the time of making a certain film. The flow and pace of this book is pretty good with not to many slow moments, she does however digress sometimes making some stories a bit confusing. There are a lot of Eddie Fisher and Elizabeth Taylor jokes in here so be prepared. Throughout this book Debbie Reynolds shows all of us that she truly is Unsinkable. less

Kind of strange structure overall, but her story-telling style reminds me of someone dear.
