review 1: I don't know why people give this such low reviews. I really enjoyed this book. Of course I would have liked Paula not to take forever to finally decide that she wanted to be with Nick for the rest of her life. I'll admit that some details were lacking and time jumps happened too fast and sometimes without notfication. I love that there are recipes at the end and I absolutely adore baklava. If you like a cute Christian romance you'll find it in this book. You'll also find a meddling family, lots of quirky people and develop a craving for baklava because of how many times it's mentioned.
review 2: It started out a little slow but it was different in that they were honest and upfront about how they felt about each from the start. Usually that does not happen unti
... morel then end. Their struggle was not on how they felt about each other, but how to merge their lives together without making one give up their dream. I enjoyed the family, and the other characters. I enjoyed the surprises that came up about the middle of the story. The ending was expected but unexpected too. You knew it was going to be a happy ending, but how exactly it worked out was the surprise. It was overal fun, interesting, and adorable story. I love stories like this and look forward to more like this from Debby Mayne. less
