review 1: Wow, how great to be able to read this book directly after the one before this one in this series.Looking forward to read the next, but don't have that one at home yet.Delaney choose to be an outcast from the other dragon shapeshifters himself. He was exiled, because he couldn't be trusted. Not his fault, because he was tortured to drink the Dragon's blood elixir. He now wants to destroy this all by himself without help.But at that moment he gets his firestorm and meets his mate. A wonderful woman.They discover they have been both hurt as a child. She does everything to change his mind about his suicide mission. Also Delaney discovers he doesn't have to do it alone, he still has friends.Amazing story again, with a good fight between evil and good. And including a great lov... moree story again.
review 2: I love this series!!! Winter Kiss did have some scientific lingo that I didn't understand all together, but I think I got the gist of it and it was explained in the end and I still liked it A LOT!!!! It was nice to see Delaney healed and see him with someone like Ginger, a spitfire and tenacious. I love that in Cooke's characters she comes up with for the mates in these books, they aren't whinny and complaining, they are strong, tough as nails and fight for their man. less
